Bingqian Gao

Data Science Lead

Bingqian believes in the power of analytics and data science. She works with data across industries, and builds analytics solutions that uncovers insight and helps to better inform decision making. Bingqian was the first female Alteryx Certified Expert, a seasoned Tableau trainer, and created the Data Science Practice at TrueCue.

Born and raised in a small city in China where dialect was spoken more than Mandarin Chinese, Bingqian came to London in 2013 for her MSc at LSE. She stumbled into analytics, and has since forged a career she finds rewarding and exciting.

Inspired by her journey, Bingqian is passionate about diversity and inclusivity beyond gender, race and what eyes can see, and devotes herself to creating positive externality in the tech and data community.

She is the Lead Organiser of the TrueCue Women in Data hackathon, and the Founder and Chair of Tiny Viz Talks. Outside of work, Bingqian enjoys art, scuba diving, boxing and krav maga.
