Gratitude for community

Launching this page a couple of days ago took me a bit of courage and the belief that the communities around me and the industry networks I am part of would see the value of our mission here at The Maple Square.

Over the past years I had the fortune to be offered many different opportunities to share my story on stages and in front of people that ranged in audience size from 5 to several thousand. I have made so many wonderful connections and learned a ton along the way.

When I sat down a couple of months ago and thought about how to address the pipeline problem of people lamenting the lack of talented women speakers they could draw on for their tech events, I was determined to find a solution for it.

I’m confident that the pipeline is already there - there are countless talented, skilled women out there ready to take the microphone and inspire and educate their audiences. We just need to make them visible and that’s what I’m here to do.
